Good to know
Do I need the internet?
No. Farm Manager runs entirely on your Mac. Even activating your license key works offline.
Where are my records kept?
On your own Mac, in your user folder. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Use File → Back Up to save a copy to a drive.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Your records stay right where they are. Enter a license key and you pick up exactly where you left off. You can still back up your records without a key.
Can I bring in records from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Every section imports and exports CSV files, and there's a ready-made template for each one.
Can I try it with sample data first?
Yes. Load the fictional sample farm from the Data center to explore every screen, then clear it out with one click when you're ready to enter your own animals.
Can I use it on two Macs?
Yes. Your license covers two Macs you own. Moving to a new Mac? Deactivate on the old one and enter your key on the new one.
Does it work on Windows or phones?
Farm Manager is a Mac Edition app for Mac computers.
